To encourage all Grand Isle county artists and farmers to participate in this tour, we are rolling back the registration price to our original prices! But time to join up is short! Please spread the word!
Join us for the seventh annual Discover the Heart of the Islands: Open Farm and Studio Tour, July 12th & 13th, 2014. This year there is a special emphasis on the communal or hub locations where several artists’ work can be seen. Agricultural venues in Grand Isle County are also to be featured Visit vineyards, farms, gardens, art studios, galleries, and farmers’ markets. Meet the artists, agricultural producers and their animals living and working within sight of, and sometimes at the edge of, magnificent Lake Champlain.
There is a registration fee of $35.00 per farm or per individual artist by March 31, 2014. Studio demonstrations are recommended. In the case of communal studios or hubs involving multiple artists at the same site, each participating artist will be expected to demonstrate his or her craft if possible. Artists at hubs are expected to pay the same registration fee. If you would like to participate in the tour but do not have a studio in which to demonstrate, please contact Jessica Remmey to help you find an appropriate communal studio location. Don’t worry, if you paid the original fee, you will be reimbursed the difference!
