Welcome to Grand Isle Art Works!

“Only through art can we emerge from ourselves
and know what another person sees. ”      –  Marcel Proust

Art by Sarah Rosedahl, Kimberlee Forney, & Jim Thompson

As a small business, it matters that GIAW makes enough sales to keep the lights on and to pay our artists who depend on their commissions from us to keep their lights on.  In an attempt to ward off this impending darkness, GIAW is updating its on-line gallery shop.  If you need the perfect gift, we hope you will take a look here.  If you don’t see what you want or need, drop us a line and we will get it to you.  Every purchase will help us to keep the lights on!  We can also “shop” for you.  Just let us know what you are looking for and we can let you know if it is available.

Jim and I thank you for your continued support. Call 802-734-7448.

Take a tour of the gallery!

Grand Isle Art Works: A Vermont Artisans’ Gallery is located on Route 2 just north of the village in Grand Isle. The property is a quirky old farmhouse built in 1797, with lots of character and interesting spaces for displaying art and fine crafts. The five acre lot has great frontage on the highway, and lots of room for us to grow. We represent over 70 Vermont artisans with artwork across multiple mediums!  The colors make this little farmhouse come alive!
