POP UP ARTISTS! Sept 26 & Oct 3, 10-4 pm

There will be a special artist Pop-Up event at the Grand Isle Art Works gallery on September 26, 10-4 pm.  Michelle Turbide, who paints using acrylics, will be set up under her canopy, displaying and selling her colorful paintings featuring barns, crows and landscapes.  Jim Holzschuh, and his wood lathe, will be set up creating wood turned objects and giving demos.  The gallery will be open and you will receive a 10% discount on one item when you purchase something created by one of the more than 70 Vermont artists having work in the gallery.

Another Pop-Up event will be held on October 3rd (from 10:00 to 4:00 at the gallery) featuring Jim Holzschuh and Courtney Reckord with her topographical jewelry.  Images of her jewelry depict mountains in the Green Mountain range as well as the shapes of Vermont lakes.  You can wear a bit of Vermont landscape by purchasing one of her pairs of earrings or a pendant.   Hilarie Mitchell, will set up a third popup canopy and will be bringing her wonderful macarons to tempt your taste buds.  Watch for a menu of goodies, soon!

Mark your calendars for these two events!

Alas…

The time has come to cancel our 10th Annual Trunk Show and Sale. We are sad, but feel it is the right thing to do.

The gallery has not been open since March 14th. We have had a few call-in sales (3), not enough to pay the bills. We were able to get a very small amount of PPP money from the Feds to pay our dear employees a few hours a week. We will be doing some yard work and interior cleaning in hopes of reopening this summer. We are ever hopeful.

In happier news, Yellow Dog Farm just had twin baby goats born yesterday, a little boy and girl! We’d love to bring them to the gallery to continue our tradition of the gallery goats!
