Mark your calendar for November 24th and get ready to SHOP LOCAL. Small Business Saturday is coming. Once again small businesses in Grand Isle and South Hero are taking part in an island-wide prize drawing. Shop local, make a purchase and fill out a ticket. You will be entered in a drawing for great prizes. Shop at these small businesses A&B Beverage, Allenholm, Blue Paddle, Grand Isle Art Works, Hackett’s Orchard, Keeler Bay Variety, McKee’s Island Pub, Pan’s Pizza, Robinson Hardware, Silver by Tish, Snow Farm Winery, Wally’s Place, Clever Designs, & Champlain Islands Candy Lab (not open yet – but offering a drawing prize!). Fill out a drawing ticket for each purchase made. The more you buy the greater your chances to win.

Held over by popular demand: Women Speak Art Show!
The art work of Meta Strick, India Tresselt, and Sarah Rosedahl will be on display at Grand Isle Art Works until mid-August. Their show, Women Speak: Resistance Art has had a HUGE response. The gallery is open daily, 10-4 pm. Come on out and see for yourself!
